Uzoamaka Nwanneka "Uzo" Aduba was born on February 10, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Igbo parents from Nigeria. Growing up in Medfield, Massachusetts, Uzo's early life was steeped in a rich cultural heritage that she proudly carried with her.
